Preamble
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website https://mytenue.com and the MyTenue mobile application (together, the "Service") operated by MYTENUE SASU ("MYTENUE", "we").
By using the Service, you ("User", "you") accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms are complemented by:
- the Privacy Policy;
- the General Terms of Sale (for paid subscriptions);
- the Cookies Policy;
- the Legal Notice.
Article 1 — Definitions
- "Service": all features provided by MYTENUE through https://mytenue.com and the MyTenue mobile application (iOS, Android).
- "User": any natural person aged 18 or over, or aged at least 16 with parental authorisation, accessing the Service.
- "Account": personal user space for accessing Service features.
- "Subscription": paid plan granting access to advanced features (Basic, Premium, Gold).
- "Mytenue Credit": internal, non-monetary, non-transferable loyalty programme defined in Article 9.
- "User Content": any content (photos, descriptions, outfits, preferences) uploaded or created by the User.
- "Partner": third-party merchant whose products are listed in the Service catalogue through affiliate links.
- "AI": artificial intelligence systems used by MYTENUE and its processors.
Article 2 — Purpose and description of the Service
MYTENUE provides Users with a wardrobe management and personalised styling application including:
- Wardrobe digitisation — AI-driven clothing recognition;
- Virtual try-on — AI rendering of garments on User;
- Outfit creation — automatic and manual outfit composition;
- Style recommendations — personalised suggestions;
- Affiliate catalogue — partner product browsing with redirection;
- Mytenue Credit loyalty programme (Article 9).
Article 3 — Eligibility and access
3.1 Legal capacity
The Service is open to any natural person with legal capacity, aged at least 16 years. Minors aged 13 to 16 may register only with explicit parental authorisation. The Service is not intended for children under 13.
3.2 Equipment
The User must have a compatible device (iOS or Android smartphone, or an up-to-date web browser) and an internet connection. Connection costs are borne by the User.
3.3 Availability
MYTENUE strives to make the Service available 24/7, subject to scheduled maintenance, force majeure, or third-party failures.
Article 4 — Account creation
4.1 Registration
Accounts can be created via email/password or via Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In. The User undertakes to provide accurate, up-to-date information.
4.2 Confidentiality
The User is solely responsible for the confidentiality of credentials. Any activity from the Account is presumed to be performed by the User. Suspected fraudulent use must be reported to contact@mytenue.com.
4.3 Single account
Each User may hold only one Account. Creating multiple Accounts to bypass limitations or abuse benefits is prohibited.
Article 5 — Prohibited conduct
You undertake to use the Service in good faith. The following are prohibited:
- uploading illegal, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or pornographic content;
- uploading content that infringes third-party rights;
- attempting unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
- reverse engineering, decompilation or disassembly;
- commercial exploitation of the Service without prior written authorisation;
- reselling, sub-licensing or making the Service available to third parties;
- using bots, scripts, scrapers or any automated data extraction;
- creating multiple Accounts to bypass free-tier limitations;
- any action disrupting or degrading the Service.
Violations may result in immediate suspension and, where appropriate, civil or criminal action.
Article 6 — Intellectual property
6.1 MYTENUE rights
All Service elements (source code, design, charts, logos, trademarks, databases, editorial content, AI features) are protected by French and international intellectual property law and belong exclusively to MYTENUE or its licensors.
MYTENUE grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and limited licence to use the Service for strictly personal purposes for the duration of effective use.
6.2 User Content
The User retains ownership of uploaded content.
By uploading User Content, you grant MYTENUE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the duration of your Account to:
- host, store and reproduce the Content;
- process it through AI systems to deliver the Service;
- display it in your private interface.
This licence does not grant MYTENUE any right of commercial or public exploitation of User Content without separate express agreement.
Upon Account deletion, User Content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
6.3 Third-party content
Content sourced from Partners (product images, descriptions) belongs to their respective rights holders.
Article 7 — Use of artificial intelligence
7.1 Operation
The Service incorporates AI systems to analyse your clothes, generate recommendations and produce virtual try-ons. These systems rely on trained models and may produce imperfect, biased or unexpected results.
7.2 Informational nature
⚠️ Important: suggestions and analyses produced by AI are informative only. They do not constitute personalised advice or a guaranteed outcome. The User remains sole judge of styling and purchase decisions.
7.3 No warranty
MYTENUE does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated results. MYTENUE is not liable for User decisions based on AI suggestions.
7.4 Human intervention
Users may request human intervention regarding AI recommendations at support@mytenue.com.
7.5 Disclosure
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, AI-generated content is flagged within the Service where required.
Article 8 — Subscriptions

8.2 Automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions are tacitly renewed. Users may cancel at any time from the Account settings, App Store or Google Play, depending on the channel.
8.3 Right of withdrawal
Consumer Users have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription, unless they have expressly waived this right to obtain immediate execution (Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
8.4 Price modification
MYTENUE may modify prices with 30 days' notice. Users may cancel free of charge before the new prices apply.
Article 9 — "Mytenue Credit" loyalty programme
⚠️ Important: Mytenue Credit is not a sum of money. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred or converted into cash.
9.1 Legal nature
The "Mytenue Credit" is an internal loyalty programme granted by MYTENUE to certain Users based on their subscription tier and activity.
Mytenue Credit falls within the exception laid down in Article L.521-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code (limited-use instruments). It is not:
- electronic money under Article L.315-1 of the same Code;
- a payment service under Article L.314-1;
- a cashable balance.
Consequently, MYTENUE is not subject to any licensing requirement as an e-money institution or payment institution.
9.2 Characteristics
Mytenue Credit is:
- ✅ Internal — usable exclusively within the MyTenue Service;
- ✅ Non-monetary — does not represent any sum of money;
- ✅ Personal and non-transferable — cannot be transferred, sold, given or exchanged;
- ✅ Non-refundable — does not entitle the User to any cash payment or bank transfer;
- ✅ Valid for 12 rolling months from the date of acquisition;
- ✅ Subject to caps as defined below.
9.3 Acquisition
The acquisition rate depends on the subscription tier and applies to the affiliate commission actually received by MYTENUE following a User purchase via a listed affiliate link:

No Mytenue Credit is awarded until the commission has been confirmed and paid by the affiliate partner (typically after the merchant's withdrawal/return period).
9.4 Use
Mytenue Credit may be used exclusively to:
- ✅ renew a Mytenue subscription;
- ✅ upgrade to a higher tier;
- ✅ purchase in-app add-ons (e.g. extra virtual try-ons).
Mytenue Credit cannot be used to:
- ❌ withdraw cash or receive a bank transfer;
- ❌ purchase products from Partner merchants;
- ❌ be transferred to another User;
- ❌ pay for services outside the MyTenue Service.
9.5 Expiry
Unused Mytenue Credit expires 12 months after acquisition and is then permanently lost.
9.6 Fraud
MYTENUE reserves the right to suspend, cancel or refuse Credit in cases of fraud, breach of the Terms, transaction cancellations or Account termination.
9.7 Modification or termination
MYTENUE may modify or terminate the Mytenue Credit programme with 30 days' notice. Credits accrued prior to termination remain usable until their original expiry date or for a minimum of 3 months from the notice, whichever is longer.
9.8 Marketing communication
The term "cashback" may be used to refer to Mytenue Credit. Any such communication will clearly indicate that Mytenue Credit is a non-monetary internal benefit subject to these conditions.
Article 10 — Affiliate catalogue and Partner merchants
10.1 Intermediary role
MYTENUE acts as an editorial and listing intermediary. MYTENUE is not the seller of products in the affiliate catalogue.
10.2 Sales contract
Any purchase transaction is concluded directly between the User and the Partner merchant, subject to the Partner's own terms.
10.3 Liability
MYTENUE is not liable for:
- availability, price, quality or conformity of products;
- delivery times or return conditions;
- after-sales service or product-related claims;
- accuracy of merchant-provided information.
Any product-related claim must be addressed directly to the Partner.
10.4 Transparency
In accordance with applicable consumer law, MYTENUE discloses commercial partnerships and commissions received via affiliate links, at no additional cost to the User.
Article 11 — Suspension and termination
11.1 User termination
Users may terminate at any time from the Account settings or by emailing dpo@mytenue.com.
11.2 MYTENUE termination
MYTENUE may suspend or terminate an Account for breach of these Terms with 7 days' notice by email. In cases of serious breach, termination may be immediate.
11.3 Effects
Termination triggers:
- loss of Service access;
- deletion of User Content as described in the Privacy Policy;
- permanent loss of unused Mytenue Credit;
- maintenance of financial obligations due for ongoing subscriptions.
Article 12 — Limitations of liability
12.1 "As is"
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". MYTENUE does not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
12.2 No warranty on recommendations
MYTENUE does not warrant that AI recommendations will match your style, body type, taste or purchases. Purchase decisions are made solely by the User.
12.3 Damage cap
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MYTENUE's total liability towards the User, for any cause whatsoever, is limited to the amounts actually paid by the User during the 12 months preceding the triggering event.
12.4 Exclusions
Excluded: indirect or consequential damages; loss of profit, opportunity or clientele; damages resulting from non-conforming use; damages caused by User or third party. These limitations do not apply in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or non-waivable consumer rights.
Article 13 — Force majeure
MYTENUE is not liable for delays or non-performance resulting from a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
Article 14 — Disputes and applicable law
14.1 Prior claim
Any claim must first be sent to contact@mytenue.com. MYTENUE will respond within 48 working hours.
14.2 Consumer mediation
Consumer Users may refer disputes free of charge to the consumer mediator designated by MYTENUE:
- Mediator: appointment in progress. Contact details will be published on this page upon confirmation.
- EU ODR Platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
14.3 Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, disputes shall be brought before the competent courts under ordinary rules applicable to consumers.
Article 15 — Changes
MYTENUE may modify these Terms. Substantial modifications will be notified by email and/or in-app notice at least 30 days before entry into force.
Article 16 — Miscellaneous
16.1 Severability
If a provision is found void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
16.2 No waiver
Failure by MYTENUE to enforce a provision shall not constitute a waiver of its right to do so later.
16.3 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, constitute the entire agreement between the User and MYTENUE relating to the Service.
16.4 Assignment
MYTENUE may assign these Terms in whole or in part to a third party, with prior notice to the User.
